Palazzo Baglioni has its origins in the Renaissance period as evidenced by some documents contained in the Gallery of Geographical Maps inside the Vatican Palaces. It was the residence of the Perugian leader Braccio Baglioni as well as a sought-after stopover for wayfarers who enter the Chiugi area from the city of Perugia. Today Palazzo Baglioni, after a long and careful restoration, is a beautiful tourist accommodation facility, with a perfectly equipped restaurant inside to host events, weddings, evenings in a welcoming and historic environment and with a large room for meetings and conferences.

The property is made up of the ancient Renaissance palace which measures approximately 1,950 sqm where we find in the basement (101 sqm) a professional kitchen, changing rooms and bathrooms for the staff; on the ground floor (637 sqm) the reception, the bar, the large restaurant room and two smaller ones for a total of about 200 seats; on the first floor (575 sqm) a large multipurpose room for conferences and meetings as well as 3 apartments; finally, on the second and top floor (637 sqm), an area that can be used as a wellness and spa. State of repair

The property underwent a complex restoration that began in the mid 1980’s and continued until the end of the 1990’s. Inside the Renaissance building there are precious terracotta floors, beautiful vaulted ceilings, period fireplaces and many other wooden or stone elements of significant historical importance.

Utilities

The main services are present and the utilities are correctly connected. The water supply is guaranteed by three ancient wells and a support tank. The heating system is powered by LPG gas boilers.
